    It is very difficult to peel the quinces. This recipe will avoid this work!!! The quince jam to be spread over crepes is a treat for the tastebuds.

    Ingredients :
    • Sugar: 2000 gr
    • Quince: 2500 gr
    Preparation time : 30 minutes
    Cooking time : 60 minutes

    1. Take the quinces not too ripe. Wash and dry them.

    2. Remove the seeds and put it into a cloth attached to a rope. It serves to sprinkle spices on some foods or the pectin from quinces (natural gelatine contained by the seeds).

    3. Slice the pulp thinly without peeling the fruit. Add the sugar, the quinces and the attached cloth into a saucepan containing a half-litre of water.

    4. Let cook on low heat until the fruit is soft and the syrup coats the slotted spoon. Take off the attached cloth. Fill the jars and close immediately.
